Prospect Report - Boston Bruins

For our second of many Prospect Reports, we shall be talking about the Boston Bruins. Three of our writers took a look at the Boston prospects, ranked them, and marked them. The Marks are as follows: 10 = Gretzky, 9 = Crosby, 8 = Top 6 F/Top 2 D, 7= 3rd/4th line F or 2nd/3rd line D, 6= 4th line F/AHL or 3rd line D/AHL and 5 or below is AHL or other leagues. The Letter represents how sure we are of our mark with A being Very sure down to F being Not very sure. For your understanding a to be in these prospect rankings the player must be below the age of 26, must have played less than 100 NHL games total, and must not have played one full season (70+ games in a single season). The writers who marked the prospects for this article are Greg komarnicky, Josh Daniels and Luke Rachar.

-Caron Lovin': Since being called up Caron has been on fire notching 7 points in his last 5 games for a total of 12 points in 35 games this season.

-Not Yet Ready: Though Hutchinson was called up to become backup for the injured Rask, The Bruins did not feel he was ready to be back up as they signed Turco to replace Hutchinson.

-Anton Returning?: Anton Khudobin has been out with a wrist injury, but looks to be returning soon. Which is great because he will likely back up Thomas with Rask injured and Turco not able to play in the playoffs.
