IIHF World Championships 2012 - Team Italy Preview


Last year Team Italy wasn't actually in the IIHF World Championships. Team Italy is coming in this year along with Team Kazakhstan to replace Teams Austria and Slovenia. Team Italy is in group S (Stockholm) for the preliminary rounds with Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Norway, Russia, and Sweden. Team Italy is facing Germany first tomorrow, (Friday, May 4th) at 12:15. The rest of their schedule for the preliminary rounds are:

Sunday, May 6th at 12:15 vs Denmark
Tuesday, May 8th at 4:15 vs Latvia
Wednesday, May 9th at 4:15 vs Norway
Friday, May 11th at 4:15 vs Czech Republic
Saturday, May 12th at 8:15 vs Sweden
Monday, May 14th at 8:15 vs Russia
