Cannone Coming Back

The Ottawa Senators have announced that the club has re-signed forward Pat Cannone to a two way, two-year contract.
Pat Cannone in a B-Sens Uniform, might get an Ottawa shirt soon

The Bayport, New York native played this past season with the club's AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. He finished 3rd in team scoring with a total of 43 points in 76 games played. Cannone was one of two players to play every game this season.

Prior to his pro career, Cannone played for the University of Miami (Ohio) as he completed his four-year program. He competed in all 166 games for the club, while contributing a total off 133 points. He recorded at least 30 points over all four seasons.

Ottawa signing rating: B, A very focused player that gets the job done. This is an excellent signing for Ottawa as he is very goal directed. The fact that he has played a combined 5 full seasons without missing a game is a real bonus for the club. Injuries can kill a team, but Cannone is healthy and could add more offense on the ice.
