Montreal gets a 27 year old forward who is big on his grit and fighting. In 44 games this year Staubitz has 90 penalty minutes including 17 penalty minutes in his only game for Montreal so far. Staubitz will be running the fighting for the Habs and should be adding some toughness to the small forwards that the Canadians currently have. Staubitz is 6.01, 210lbs so should be able to handle himself. Staubitz is on a 1yr contract worth 287.5k. He will be a UFA this offseason.
